ThyssenKrupp Elevator has been commissioned to supply a total of 318 passenger transportation systems for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (People's Republic of China). 16 elevators, ten escalators and 90 moving walks have already been installed in the new Terminal 3 of Beijing International Airport, designed by UK star architect Lord Norman Foster. They will ensure fast and safe transportation of athletes and visitors before, during and after the Olympic Games.
